These Terms of Service apply only to the PixelForge game and its in-game features.
By creating a PixelForge account or playing PixelForge, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Users must follow these Terms of Service as well as the separate PixelForge Game Rules.
Age Requirement
Independent use of a PixelForge account requires the user to be at least 13 years old.
Users under the age of 13 may use PixelForge only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising the minor's use of PixelForge and ensuring that these Terms of Service are followed.
User Accounts
Each user is responsible for their own PixelForge account and for keeping their login information secure.
Using multiple personal PixelForge accounts is allowed as long as the accounts are not used to bypass these Terms of Service, the Game Rules, or moderation actions.
The following are prohibited:
- Selling an account.
- Buying an account.
- Renting an account.
- Transferring an account to another person without permission.
- Using another user's account without permission.
- Stealing passwords or other login credentials.
- Gaining unauthorized access to another user's account.
- Using another account to bypass a punishment or ban.
If a user believes that their account has been accessed by another person without permission, they should report it to PixelForge Support.
Usernames
Usernames must follow the PixelForge Terms of Service and Game Rules.
Inappropriate, offensive, sexual, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise rule-breaking usernames are prohibited.
A prohibited username remains prohibited even when a word or phrase is intentionally written differently to bypass filtering or moderation.
This includes, for example:
- Replacing letters with numbers.
- Adding unnecessary symbols.
- Adding spaces inside words.
- Intentionally misspelling a word.
- Using similar-looking Unicode characters.
- Using any other method intended to hide a prohibited word or phrase.
If a user accidentally chooses an inappropriate username, they may be given an opportunity to change it to an acceptable username within a specified period of time.
PixelForge may also reset or temporarily replace a rule-breaking username.
If the user does not correct the username within the given time, refuses to change it, or sets another rule-breaking username, the account may be suspended.
Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent account suspension.
Player Conduct
All users must behave appropriately toward other players.
The following are prohibited:
- Bullying.
- Harassment.
- Threats.
- Hate speech.
- Discrimination.
- Intentionally provoking other players.
- Sharing another person's personal information.
- Scamming.
- Impersonating another player or PixelForge staff.
- Spamming.
- Intentionally disrupting another player's gameplay.
- Encouraging others to break the rules.
The separate PixelForge Game Rules must also be followed.
Cheating and Unauthorized Software
Cheating in PixelForge is prohibited.
The following are prohibited:
- Using cheat software.
- Using hacks.
- Using bots.
- Using unauthorized scripts.
- Using unauthorized macros.
- Unauthorized modification of the game client.
- Bypassing anti-cheat systems.
- Manipulating game data or network traffic.
- Using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
Creating, distributing, advertising, or selling cheating software intended for use with PixelForge is also prohibited.
Bugs and Exploits
Intentionally using a bug, exploit, or other game error to gain an advantage is prohibited.
Examples include:
- Duplicating items.
- Duplicating currency.
- Obtaining XP through unauthorized methods.
- Bypassing game restrictions.
- Exploiting the trading system.
- Manipulating the game economy.
- Using worlds or other game systems in ways they were not intended to be used.
Serious bugs and exploits should be reported to PixelForge Support.
Bug or security testing that has been specifically authorized by PixelForge is allowed.
Virtual Currency
PixelForge uses in-game virtual currencies such as:
- CubeCoins (CC)
- PixelCoins (PC)
Virtual currency is digital in-game content and is not real-world money.
Virtual currency must not be:
- Duplicated.
- Created through exploits.
- Obtained through scams.
- Manipulated without authorization.
- Sold for real-world money outside PixelForge.
- Used for fraudulent activity.
PixelForge may remove virtual currency that was obtained in violation of these rules.
Items and Other Virtual Content
PixelForge contains items, blocks, equipment, cosmetics, and other digital game content.
Unauthorized duplication of items or other virtual content is prohibited.
PixelForge reserves the right to modify item:
- Properties.
- Values.
- Functions.
- Rarities.
- Availability.
- Balancing.
- Drop rates.
Changes may be made for game balancing, security, or game development purposes.
Trading
The PixelForge trading system may only be used for its intended purpose.
Players are responsible for checking a trade before accepting it.
The following are prohibited:
- Trade scams.
- Intentionally misleading another player.
- Trades performed using exploits.
- Trading duplicated items.
- Using stolen accounts for trading.
PixelForge may reverse or correct a trade that is connected to a scam, account theft, exploit, or other serious rule violation.
Real-Money Trading
Trading PixelForge accounts, virtual currency, items, or worlds for real-world money outside PixelForge is prohibited.
This includes, for example:
- Selling an item for euros or another real-world currency.
- Selling an account.
- Selling CubeCoins or PixelCoins.
- Exchanging PixelForge property for gift cards.
- Exchanging PixelForge property for cryptocurrency or other real-world financial value.
Official PixelForge in-game purchases are not covered by this restriction.
Worlds
PixelForge allows players to own, build, and modify worlds.
Worlds must not be used for:
- Violating these Terms of Service or the Game Rules.
- Scamming.
- Cheating.
- Displaying prohibited content.
- Harassing other players.
- Performing exploits or other abuse.
PixelForge may restrict, lock, rename, or remove a world that violates the rules.
Owning a world does not give the player ownership rights over PixelForge blocks, items, graphics, or other game assets.
Moderation
PixelForge staff have the right to enforce these Terms of Service and the Game Rules.
Moderation actions may include:
- Notices.
- Warnings.
- Chat restrictions.
- Username resets or changes.
- Temporary account restrictions.
- Temporary bans.
- Permanent bans.
- Removal of prohibited content.
- Removal of improperly obtained items.
- Removal of improperly obtained virtual currency.
The moderation action is determined based on the seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of the violation.
A serious violation may result in an immediate permanent ban without a prior warning.
Ban Evasion
Bypassing a PixelForge ban or account restriction is prohibited.
This includes, for example:
- Creating a new account to bypass a ban.
- Using another person's account to bypass a ban.
- Changing device or network identifiers to bypass a ban.
- Using another method to avoid a moderation action.
An account used for ban evasion may also be permanently suspended.
Moderation Appeals
Users may appeal moderation actions that PixelForge allows to be appealed.
An appeal is a request for the moderation decision to be reviewed.
Submitting an appeal does not automatically remove the punishment.
The following are prohibited:
- Spamming the appeal system.
- Threatening staff.
- Submitting false evidence.
- Impersonating another person.
- Intentionally abusing the appeal system.
PixelForge Content and Rights
PixelForge reserves all rights to the game content it creates and owns.
This includes, for example, game graphics, assets, items, blocks, characters, user interface elements, source code, logos, sounds, and other original content.
PixelForge-owned assets and other original game content belong to PixelForge and not to users or outside parties unless otherwise specifically agreed for individual content.
Without permission, PixelForge content must not be:
- Copied.
- Sold.
- Republished.
- Distributed as asset packs.
- Used in another game.
- Used in another application.
- Used in a commercial product.
- Claimed as the user's own work.
Using the game does not transfer ownership of PixelForge assets or other game content to the user.
Rights to third-party content remain with the original rights holders.
Competition Assets
If an asset or item created by a user wins a competition and is added to PixelForge, the rights to that asset are transferred to PixelForge.
The winner receives the item in their inventory.
The original creator is credited in the asset description using their in-game name.
The creator may suggest a description for the item, but the final description is decided by the PixelForge development team.
An asset submitted to a competition must be created by the user.
The asset must not:
- Be a copy of an existing PixelForge item or asset.
- Be a copy or modification of an item, asset, character, or other content from another game.
- Use an item from Growtopia or another game as a base in a way that copies the original content.
- Violate the PixelForge Terms of Service.
- Violate the PixelForge Game Rules.
- Insult, harass, or demean others.
- Infringe another person's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Be generated by artificial intelligence.
- Be created using artificial intelligence.
The winner cannot later require the asset to be removed from the game after the rights have been transferred to PixelForge.
All users who are members of the official PixelForge Discord server may participate in the competition.
Violations of These Terms
Violating these Terms of Service may result in moderation actions.
PixelForge determines the punishment based on the seriousness of the violation and the circumstances of the case.
Repeated violations may result in stronger punishments.
A serious violation of these Terms of Service may result in permanent account suspension.
Changes to These Terms
PixelForge may update these Terms of Service due to game development, new features, security requirements, changes to the Game Rules, or other necessary changes.
Significant changes may be announced in the game or through official PixelForge channels.
The current version of these Terms of Service replaces previous versions when the new version takes effect.
